The L397 pleco—also known as the Alenquer Tiger Pleco (Panaqolus sp.)—is a small, colorful freshwater catfish famous for its bright orange and deep black tiger stripes. Native to the Amazon Basin in Brazil, it is a favorite choice for home aquariums.

  • Size: Grows to a maximum length of about 4 to 5 inches (10 to 13 cm).
  • Color: Features striking dark brown or black vertical bands over a vivid orange or reddish base.
