The L157 Bristlenose Pleco (often called the Red Spot Bristlenose, scientifically Ancistrus maximus) is a peaceful, South American freshwater fish famous for its beautiful dark body covered in striking red spots. Growing to about 6 to 7 inches, these hardy bottom-dwellers are excellent, low-maintenance additions to community tanks.
